What People Are Saying

This is a very large, very cool dog park
By far our favorite dog park! Beautiful landscaping, feel good atmosphere, plenty of shade for pet parents, water fountain, 2 enclosures for “active” and “passive” dogs- very clever!
Large area, but its all dirt. Refuse receptacles for waste available. Water for the dogs is available as well

About Marketside Dog Park at Verrado

Nestled in Buckeye, Marketside Dog Park offers a sprawling space for dogs to roam and play, but heads up—it’s primarily a dirt area. Visitors appreciate the available water stations and waste receptacles, making cleanup easy for pet owners. Though it has its charm, some have noted the concern about rattlesnakes on the premises, so be sure to keep an eye on your furry friends while they explore.

Access to the park has become a bit complicated, as gate locks now require a code, indicating it’s more private than some might expect. Many feel that it should be clearly labeled as open to Verrado residents only. This has led to some frustration among non-residents, who have encountered unexpected barriers.

On a positive note, the park features beautifully landscaped areas with ample shade for both pets and their people. The thoughtful division into “active” and “passive” dog zones has received praise for accommodating different energy levels, making it a favorite spot for regular visitors despite its recent restrictions.
