About Dog Park

Located in Chula Vista, this small dog park offers a fenced area where pups can roam off-leash and enjoy some playtime. With benches scattered around and a few trees providing shade, it’s a decent spot for dog owners to relax while their furry friends chase tennis balls. The space is primarily dirt, which some find fine, but it can also lead to a bit of a mess for those not keen on muddy paws.

However, the park has faced frequent complaints about cleanliness, as many visitors have noted that not all dog owners are diligent about picking up after their pets. This has resulted in some unsightly piles of waste, detracting from the overall experience. While it’s a shame, it’s worth mentioning that during quieter times, the park can be a pleasant place to socialize with other dogs and their owners.

There are no provided waste bag stations, so be sure to bring your own. While the park has its charm, be cautious if your dog is sensitive to rough terrain—some visitors have reported injuries due to debris left around. With a mix of pros and cons, it’s a spot that some locals enjoy but may need to temper expectations regarding cleanliness.
