About Fontana Dog Park
Fontana Dog Park is a favorite for many locals, offering an expansive area where both small and large dogs can romp around. The well-maintained grass and stocked doggy bag stations make it a clean choice for responsible pet owners. While it boasts a vibrant atmosphere with friendly dogs of various breeds, some have noted that the small dog area is quite limited and could use a little more attention.
A few visitors have expressed concerns about the height of the fences in the large dog section, which stand at about four feet, and the presence of gopher holes may be a downside for some. However, the park has plenty of features worth appreciating, like a drinking fountain and benches for owners to relax while their furry friends play. The adjacent Jessie Turner center adds a community feel with its fitness classes and family activities.
For those looking to socialize their dogs or enjoy a leisurely walk, Sunday evenings tend to bring in a lively crowd. While the park is generally seen as a great spot, it could benefit from some overall maintenance and improvements. Still, for regular dog owners in Fontana, it remains a popular choice for its balance of fun and functionality.
