What People Are Saying

Very very very small “dog park” there are drinking fountains for pups in the area and poop bags are provided I would say it’s more like a play pen, with a capacity of 5 dogs Came here during Covid and there’s no one here so I guess that’s a plus
Update: NOW OPEN AS OF JAN. 5, 2022
Nice place with a great view, gate, dog-sized drinking water fountains and clean little playground. Benches, evening lights and doggy bags are also here

About Grand Park- Dog Park

Nestled in downtown Los Angeles, this dog park offers a cozy space for pups and their owners. Measuring around 25’x100’, it can feel a bit cramped, especially without designated areas for small and large dogs. Despite its size, the park features a clean playground, two dog-sized drinking fountains, and plenty of benches to relax while your furry friend explores. It’s a surprisingly peaceful spot with beautiful views, especially during off-peak times when you might even have it all to yourself.

While it’s a great oasis for dog owners in a densely populated area like Koreatown, some have noted the lack of nearby parking can be frustrating. The park does not offer its own parking facilities, and street parking can be a challenge. However, it is accessible via public transit, making it a convenient stop for those traveling light.

The park is relatively new, having reopened in early 2022 after a period of construction. Some regulars wish for a bit more space for their energetic dogs to run, but the calm atmosphere and amenities such as poop bags and evening lights make it a solid choice for a quick visit. Just be aware that the area might feel empty at times, which can be both a plus for some and a downside for others looking for socialization opportunities.
