About Treasure Island Dog Park

Treasure Island Dog Park is a delightful spot for both pups and their owners, offering stunning views of the San Francisco skyline and the iconic bridges nearby. The park is fully fenced with three secure gates, ensuring your furry friend can romp around without worry. While there’s a picnic table for breaks, be mindful of a few potholes that might trip you up, likely caused by the enthusiastic digging of other dogs.

Visiting during the day is a treat, especially if you want some peace and quiet; on weekends, you might just find the park to yourself around mid-afternoon. The park’s proximity to the ocean can bring brisk winds, so dress accordingly. Additionally, the nearby kids’ play area has some obstacles, but it might not be the best fit for younger children.

For those who enjoy photography or just want to soak in the sunset, this park is ideal for capturing breathtaking views. The bike trail surrounding the island offers an excellent opportunity for a scenic walk after your dog has played. With ample space and a welcoming atmosphere, it’s no wonder why this park has become a favorite for both locals and their pups.
