This brand-new dog park in San Jose offers a spacious environment for pups, featuring separate areas for small and large dogs. With a large open field layout, dogs can run freely, although the surface of wood shavings might not appeal to everyone, especially those who prefer grass. Currently, the park lacks shade, which can make sunny days a bit uncomfortable. However, water stations are available, and the area is well-maintained.

Visitors appreciate the cleanliness and size of the park, with plenty of room for dogs to explore. It’s a great spot for socialization, but be aware that amenities like doggie poop bags are not provided. The benches are limited, with only two on each side, so plan to bring your own seating if you expect to stay a while.

Parking could be an issue, as it’s primarily street parking; some recommend using the nearby Safeway lot. Many are optimistic that, as the newly planted trees mature, this park will transform into an even better destination for San Jose dog owners. For now, it’s a clean, spacious space with room for improvement.
