What People Are Saying

So far, this is my favorite park in the area
First of all, Google maps gave me the wrong directions, it had me go down a neighborhood street that was a dead end which I guess is right behind the dog park and the dog park area isn't easy to see from the main street so I had no idea where to park
This is less of a review and more about directions!

About Edendale Dog Park

Edendale Dog Park in San Lorenzo offers a cozy spot for pups to enjoy some time outdoors. The grassy area is well maintained, making it a hit for dog owners who dislike wood chips. While the park isn’t enormous and lacks separate areas for large and small dogs, many appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the chance for their dogs to romp around without the usual distractions of a larger park. However, the overall size can feel a bit limited, especially on busier days.

Finding the park can be a challenge, with reviews mentioning navigation issues due to Google Maps. Once you locate the entrance by the children’s playground on Ashland Avenue, the dog area is tucked away and requires a short walk through the playground. The water fountain for dogs is conveniently located outside the gated park, which some owners found inconvenient.

Though benches are available inside the fenced area, shade is scarce, making it less enjoyable on hot days. Despite these drawbacks, Edendale is praised for its cleanliness and well-kept grassy space, making it a decent spot for socializing dogs and their owners alike.
