What People Are Saying

We were visiting Colorado Springs in October 2022
This is a decent dog park but there's no shade at all
Lots of room to run, nice 1-mile or so trail behind it for walking! The faces made when you pull up here tho? Priceless!!🩷

About Eastridge Dog Park

Eastridge Dog Park offers a spacious environment for your furry friends to romp around, featuring a large main area and a separate small dog section. The park has a convenient 1-mile trail that runs alongside, making it perfect for a stroll after your pups have exhausted themselves. Though it has plenty of room, be prepared for peak times when it can get crowded, and keep an eye on your dog’s interactions, as some owners may not recognize when their dogs need a break.

While the park is a great place for socialization, some visitors have expressed concerns about aggression from certain dogs, particularly those possessive of toys. Management of dog behavior in this shared space can sometimes be an issue, so it’s wise to stay vigilant. Additionally, the lack of shade has frustrated some users; while new trees are being planted, you’ll want to come prepared on hot days.

Water stations are available, but they may not always be functional, so bringing your own water for your pet is advisable. The dirt surfaces can become muddy after rain or snow, so a towel for your dog’s paws is a great idea before heading back home. With benches for owners and ample space for play, Eastridge is a solid choice for those in Colorado Springs looking to let their dogs socialize and run free.
