About Dog park

This dog park in Miami Beach offers separate areas for large and small dogs, making it a decent spot for pups to romp around. The fully fenced layout features shaded spots for those hot days and is equipped with water fountains and poop bags. While the park generally allows for a fun experience, be mindful of peak hours around 5 PM when it gets busy, and some larger dogs may stray onto the small dog side, causing a bit of tension among owners.

Despite its perks, the park has received mixed reviews concerning maintenance. After heavy rains, flooding and muddy conditions can become an issue, along with the occasional sighting of fleas. Some experienced dog owners have expressed safety concerns over broken glass and holes in the ground, which detracts from the overall enjoyment.

For those looking to socialize their dogs, the park does attract friendly owners during quieter hours. However, if cleanliness and safe play areas are top priorities for you, it may be worth considering alternatives like South Pointe Park or Pine Tree, which some locals swear by for better upkeep and a more relaxed atmosphere.
