What People Are Saying

Never busy which is great considering my gentle giant has gotten into fights being a male with another male at other dog parks
Nice little dog park, frequent here alot. As per usual there are a large amount of mines everywhere from the irresponsible people hat don't clean up after their animals
Our BJ just loves coming here and running and playing fetch. He knows where we are as soon as we turn on Cayuga Street. The park is very clean and well maintained

About Angus Goss Dog Park

Angus Goss Dog Park in Tampa is a cozy spot for local pups, especially those looking for a low-key outing. Dog owners appreciate its cleanliness, with many noting they’ve never encountered any messes despite the park’s smaller size. The environment usually feels safe, as it tends to be less crowded, allowing for some stress-free playtime.

However, there are some drawbacks, including the reported issues with the water fountain and a gate that isn’t always secure, which can pose a risk for curious pups. While the park has basic amenities like benches and dog bags, the lack of a fully functioning water source has been a common point of frustration among returning visitors.

Despite these concerns, returning patrons love the friendly atmosphere and the well-maintained grounds. Many dogs, like BJ, seem to have a blast running around and playing fetch here. For those nearby, it remains a practical choice for a quick romp, even if it’s not the largest park around.
