What People Are Saying

This park is really cool, I didn't even know park like this exists
I thought it was a nice place. My issue is,the part for small dogs was a longer walk than expected with no place to park near by while the part for larger dogs was right next to parking lot
Nice dog park with plenty of room to run and sprinklers and a water spout to keep your pup cool

About Northwest County Dog Park

Tucked away on W Waters Ave, Northwest County Dog Park offers a spacious environment for pups to romp freely. With a mix of turf and dirt, dogs can dig in and enjoy the outdoor terrain, and even splash around on the splash pad to beat the heat. Water stations are available, but it seems the maintenance of these fountains could use some improvement as a few visitors noted issues with algae growth.

While the dog park is generally welcoming, it’s worth noting that the layout may present some challenges. The small dog area is a bit of a trek from the main parking lot, with some owners finding that their little ones tire out before they even reach the play zone. In contrast, the larger dog area sits conveniently close to parking, making it easier for bigger breeds to get a workout without any extra walking.

Socializing at this park is usually a pleasant experience; many dog owners report a friendly atmosphere with regular attendees. However, during busy times, the seating tends to get clustered, and the space can feel a bit chaotic. Overall, it’s a solid choice for local dog lovers, just be prepared for some logistical quirks.
