What People Are Saying

A few homeless people in this park The bathrooms are disgusting and the walls start at your knees to prevent said homeless from sleeping and smashing each other But besides that
Park was clean upon entry, there's a restroom FYI it's Not a luxurious one!
Really nice great friendly people. The only bad thing is that right now with the covid only 1 person can use the dog play areas at a time, so the dogs cant all play with one another

About Dreher Dog Park

Dreher Dog Park in West Palm Beach offers a spacious area for dogs to roam, complete with a large dog section surrounded by trees and a scenic view of nearby hills and a lake. While the park boasts plenty of open fields and exercise equipment for owners, several reviews point out the deteriorating condition of the fences and a lack of maintenance, making some areas less inviting, especially for those with small dogs. Many have experienced issues with the water fountains, which have been reported as malfunctioning.

Despite the park’s charm, visitors have noted a few concerns, such as the presence of homeless individuals and occasional aggressive dogs. The situation is further complicated by COVID-19 restrictions limiting the number of dogs allowed to play together, which has frustrated some pet owners. The bathrooms, while present, don’t always meet cleanliness expectations and are often described as basic at best.

On a brighter note, many dog owners appreciate the friendly atmosphere and the chance to enjoy a picnic or a family outing together. The park is popular for joggers, and its natural beauty, complete with wildflowers and butterflies, adds to the experience. While Dreher Dog Park has its challenges, it remains a community hub for those looking to enjoy time outdoors with their furry companions.
