What People Are Saying

A few homeless people in this park The bathrooms are disgusting and the walls start at your knees to prevent said homeless from sleeping and smashing each other But besides that
Park was clean upon entry, there's a restroom FYI it's Not a luxurious one!
Really nice great friendly people. The only bad thing is that right now with the covid only 1 person can use the dog play areas at a time, so the dogs cant all play with one another

About Dreher Dog Park

Dreher Dog Park in West Palm Beach offers a spacious outdoor space where dogs can get some off-leash time and owners can enjoy the natural surroundings. The park has a large dog section with trees nearby, open fields, and a scenic setting that makes it a popular spot for joggers and families alike. It’s the kind of place where you’ll generally find friendly people and a laid-back vibe.

That said, it’s worth going in with realistic expectations. Reviewers have noted that fence conditions and overall maintenance can be inconsistent, and the water fountains have had reliability issues. The restrooms are there if you need them, but don’t expect anything polished — visitors describe them as very basic. There have also been mentions of homeless individuals in the park, which is worth knowing before your first visit.

COVID-era restrictions once limited how many dogs could interact at once, which frustrated some regulars, though that situation has since evolved. With 218 reviews, this park clearly has a loyal local following despite its quirks. If you’re in the West Palm Beach area and want a green, open space for your dog to stretch their legs, Dreher is worth a visit — just check conditions ahead of time and come prepared.
