About Windsor Forest Dog Park

Windsor Forest Dog Park in Savannah is a decent spot for pups and their owners, especially if you visit around 5 p.m. on weekdays when the community tends to gather. While the park isn’t the most modern, it does provide a good use of land in a quiet neighborhood, complete with two separate fenced areas for small and large dogs. Each side features a few agility obstacles, giving dogs a chance to stretch their legs and test their skills.

However, some visitors have noted a few drawbacks. The water spigots have been reported as non-functional, and the ground can get muddy due to insufficient sunlight. Parking can also be confusing, with unclear signage that could leave newcomers unsure of where to park. Keep an eye out for the entrance, as the chains and no-parking signs can make it seem like the park is closed upon arrival.

Despite these hiccups, many dogs and their owners enjoy the park’s shaded areas and friendly atmosphere. Just be prepared to bring plenty of water and maybe a towel for those muddy pups. If you’re in the area and appreciate a secluded space for your dog, Windsor Forest may be worth checking out.
