About Morris Hill Dog Park

Morris Hill Dog Park in Boise is a lively spot favored by many local dog owners and their furry friends. With a nice-sized area for dogs to run, it’s not typically overcrowded, allowing pets to socialize and play without feeling overwhelmed. There’s a separate small dog area equipped with agility equipment, including hoops and plenty of climbing structures. Benches dotted around the park offer a place for owners to relax while their dogs engage in play.

One unique feature of this park is its woodchip ground cover, which keeps pups from returning home with grass stains. While many owners appreciate the woodchips, some have raised concerns about the cleanliness of the water sources and the potential for bacteria growth. Regular cleaning and maintenance of the water bowls and sanitation supplies would go a long way in enhancing everyone’s experience, especially during hot summer days when fresh water is essential.

Parking can be a bit tight, but there is street parking available. The friendly community of dog owners contributes to an inviting atmosphere, making it easy to strike up a conversation while watching the dogs frolic. With plenty of room to roam and a variety of dogs to play with, Morris Hill is a great destination for getting those puppy zoomies out!
