What People Are Saying

Great, clean, and lots of room. Albuquerque city water doesn't seem to do dog tummies any favors, but most people bring bottled water and fill up the available bowls
Friendly locals and playful pups! As a visitor from Texas on a trip with my dog, I wanted to find fun places for my dog too
Well maintained, clean, ample parking, and lots of sweet dogs

About Skyline Dog Park

Skyline Dog Park is a spacious retreat in Albuquerque that offers ample room for dogs of all sizes to run and play. The park is well-maintained, featuring a mix of grass and wood chips, although some visitors noted a preference for grass over mulch. With plenty of friendly locals and their pups, it’s easy to find others to socialize with. The volunteer efforts to keep the area stocked with water bowls and tennis balls are greatly appreciated, making it a top choice for apartment dwellers seeking a place for their dogs to zoom around.

While there isn’t a separate area for small and large dogs, the layout encourages dogs to find their own space and play nicely. Some visitors reported minor incidents, but the community is proactive in resolving issues. The park does get a bit hot in the summer due to limited shade, but a few umbrellas and shade structures provide respite during peak hours.

Parking is plentiful, and the park is accessible with benches for resting during playtime. While the water fountain is currently turned off, it will be a welcome feature once the warmer months arrive. Overall, Skyline Dog Park is a lively spot where both pups and their humans can enjoy some quality time together.
