What People Are Saying

There's a dog park (my dog loves it), though it would be nice to have a garbage can near it
Do you have to park clean on the other side of the park and walk all the way through the park to get to the dog area it's kind of a pain in the butt especially when there's a lot of kids out there

About Highland Dog Park

Highland Dog Park in Dayton offers two spacious enclosures where dogs can frolic freely, much to the delight of their owners. There’s a shaded picnic table for those looking to relax while keeping an eye on their furry friends. Some visitors appreciate the park’s versatility, noting that it features a playground, basketball hoops, and soccer goals, making it a hub of activity for both dogs and families.

However, it’s clear that upkeep may be an issue, as some users have mentioned the grass inside the dog park area could use a good mowing. While the surrounding fields are well-maintained, the lack of attention to the dog area has drawn some disappointment. Additionally, the absence of a garbage can nearby has left some wishing for better cleanliness options.

Parking can be a hassle, as you’ll often need to park away from the designated dog area, requiring a trek through the park. This can be especially tricky when the park is busy with kids and families enjoying the space. Despite these drawbacks, many dog owners still find it to be a desirable place for their pets to socialize and play.
