Lynnewood Gardens Dog Park in Elkins Park is a spacious area perfect for letting your pup stretch their legs. While it’s technically private property reserved for residents, the park offers a comfortable atmosphere with benches and dog-friendly activities like a bar jump and a tunnel. Though my dog had a great time, he had a brief falling out with the see-saw, which he tried once and promptly rejected. During our visit around 11 AM, the park was pleasantly quiet, allowing for some leisurely playtime.
However, not everything is perfect. Some reviewers noted the lack of separate areas for large and small dogs, which can lead to unfortunate encounters. A couple of dog owners expressed concerns over the security of the gates, as smaller dogs could slip through or even escape the park.
