What People Are Saying

It's always a pleasure to be here. Such a calm place on the waterfront
Giving this 3 stars because of the gravel, which is not a safe choice for rough dog play

About Penn's Landing Dog Park

Nestled along the Delaware River, Penn’s Landing Dog Park offers a scenic escape for both pups and their humans. Visitors praise the beautiful waterfront views and the peaceful atmosphere, making it an ideal spot to relax while your furry friend plays. While the park has benches and trees for shade, the gravel surface can be rough on playful pups, so it’s best suited for calmer outings.

Although there’s a small dog area and a larger space, the lack of signage makes it confusing for owners with dogs of varying sizes. Reviewers frequently mention the clean environment and the working water stations, which is essential during warm days. However, the absence of poop bags and toys can leave some pet parents feeling unprepared. Be mindful that parking can be pricey, with an expensive lot nearby and limited street options.

Penn’s Landing shines during special events, like ice skating in the winter, and is conveniently located for those looking to combine a visit to the park with a stroll along the waterfront. Overall, it’s a lovely destination for those seeking a quieter park experience, though some adjustments could elevate it to a dog park that better caters to energetic play.
