About Estabrook Dog Park

Estabrook Dog Park offers a spacious area for dogs to roam, with separate sections for small and large breeds, making it a good spot for pups to socialize. Regular visitors appreciate how easy it is to monitor the whole park, though it’s wise to stay alert to ensure all dogs are well-behaved. The park typically sees a decent crowd, with 15 or more dogs on busier days, which is ideal for socializing both pets and their humans.

However, not every experience is positive. Some guests have reported cleanliness issues, such as scattered trash and the odd abandoned gum, which can detract from the overall enjoyment of the park. Additionally, there have been concerning incidents involving aggressive dogs that weren’t properly restrained, leading some to feel uneasy about safety. Regulars seem to foster a friendly atmosphere, but those looking for a pristine environment may find the park lacking in upkeep.

While there are some benches and water bowls, bringing your own water is recommended as there are no public sources available. Parking is convenient, but potential visitors should be aware of the permit requirement, which differs from many other parks. It’s worth checking out for your furry friend, but be prepared for some quirks that might make it less appealing for certain types of dog owners.
